As you probably noticed,  we have just updated our website. The Access MD website now features a weekly blog which will allow us to easily add new information on the practice, and on healthcare in general.

Your comments on the website are welcomed and appreciated. If there are ideas you have to make it more valuable, please let us know. If you are not an Access MD member and are looking to join, we hope the site answers a lot of the questions you may have before joining.

Remember – we love the referrals you give us. Feel free to send your family members and friends to the website so they can learn a bit about what Access MD offers.

  • Fall Fitness

    Posted on September 18, 2014

We all know how important exercise is to staying in shape. Even a 30-minute daily walk has a tremendous effect on our overall health. That is why we challenge those we communicate with to get some exercise every day.

Weather in September is still hot here in Mobile, but cooler weather is right around the corner, and that cooler weather offers a chance to build new exercise regimens without the brutal summer heat.

WebMD printed a short article here with ten exercise tips for the fall months. A few tips to mention from the list: One, take advantage of the weather – being outside for longer periods of time is easier. Two, remember that new habits take at least 30 days to form.

When you make a commitment for more exercise for the fall, plan on at least 30 days to see it  become a regular habit for you and hopefully  those around you.
