  We wanted to post a blog entry to make sure practice members know to call us with any health related question, no matter how unimportant it may seem. Small issues can become large issues, and by dealing with them early on we can assist you in taking better care of yourself.

  So patients – call us when you need us. As an Access MD patient you should have Dr. Hashimi’s personal number. We are here to serve!

  We wanted to post just a short note here on how much we value our patients telling their friends and family members about the services we offer here at Access MD Concierge Medicine.

  We do some low-key advertising around the Mobile area, supporting those groups and organizations we feel most strongly about. As you might know, Camp Rap-A-Hope is one of our favorites. But overall we rely on our current patients to get the word out about what we are offering at Access MD.

  We do have some brochures for anyone you know who could benefit from working with us. Just let us know who to mail a few of these brochures to and we will send them out pronto!

• The Importance of Annual Exams

  I enjoy practicing medicine using the Access MD concierge model of medicine for many reasons.

  One of the main reasons is that concierge medicine allows me to offer more personalized attention by following the health of Access MD patients over long periods of time, and in a very comprehensive way.

  Benefits accrue over time for Access MD patients. Of course, as we age, health care becomes more and more important in our lives.

  Annual health checkups are a critical component to that process. So as a reminder, please schedule an annual exam with me in order for us to jointly focus on whatever issues you might be facing. Fall is a great time of the year to take note of where you are health wise.

  With Access MD you are always seen by a board certified MD whether you are coming in for an annual exam or an immediate health need. In today’s world, that is not always the case in traditional practices.
